Left or right? Italian wedding humor
This is the second time in 6 years that I've seen another "bedsheet humor" sign displayed in anticipation of a wedding. I've added notes/english equivalents on the flickr photo page, but I think a few of the illustrations give a fair enough idea of what two choices lay before the groom-to-be. At least I can say that I don't chase the MotH around with a rolling pin!

Cracks me up! Gotta love it!
hiliarious!
Ya, I think that's something I would've had to stop and look at too. Very funny! ^_^
funny!
Hi Rowena, I'm so glad you're still here and obviously having a great time. I just found http://www.findyourcraving.com/ and introduced Cynthia to your site. Please visit and check it out if you haven't already. Synergy there?
Heheheh! Never saw anything like that here. I think the balls would get some ladies' panties in a big ole bunch!
I just heard from Cynthia and she's not only in Italy tasting wines, but she's from Hawaii also.
Small world....
That is hilarious! We don't have this in Canada...I don't think anyone has thought of it.
The closest thing I can think of to anything like this here, is that people write love, peace or political messages on rock cliffs. Or they will use stones to form letters or signs on mountains and meadows.
Stephen - so nice to see you here! I'll be around for as long as the innernet cares to host me, or until I reach my goal of 100 ways to celebrate Italy, then I.am.out! Thanks for mentioning that web address...never heard of them, but with the amount of blogs that are born each day.
The world is crying to be heard!
Shine - gotta love the italian sense of humor, and if I should ever be invited to a wedding in Hawaii, I will definitely come up with something like this (although I should check first to see if it's okay to hang a bedsheet on state property). The beauty of this one is that it was placed at a T-stop where everyone would see it, so I imagine that the entire village got a good laugh!
ok
