My 7 links

Piece of cake. Or so I thought when Murissa of The Wanderfull Traveler tagged me to participate in a select collection of posts from my blog. It took me a week to comb through the 1000+ entries on RSII and I still came up one short and borrowed another from my garden blog. As it usually goes with these things, 5 fellow bloggers are supposed to be nominated to enlarge the information pool, but instead I'll leave the link to where it all began: www.tripbase.com/blog/my-7-links-the-rules

My Most Beautiful Post: The living cathedral in winter

Cattedrale vegetale in winter
One of the most magical places that I've experienced in Italy.

My Most Popular Post: Bomboloni or Krapfen or filled doughnuts

Bomboloni or krapfen or filled donuts
This shows up in my stats all the time. People love donuts!

My Most Controversial Post: Doggies in Ikea

Apparently, muzzling your mutt garners strong opinion from dog lovers.

My Most Helpful Post: How to say “Hi my name is …” in italian

Because in Italy, everybody wants to know your name.

A Post whose Success Surprised Me: The Mooing Milk Machine

Latte crudo e vino sfuso
Where the machine actually moos while milking it!

A Post I feel didn't get the attention it deserved:

With the image thievin' that goes on behind my back, I don't think attention, or the lack thereof, is a problem.

The Post I'm most proud of: Black Aztec success in the kitchen

Blue tortilla cone
From garden to table, making blue aztec cornmeal for homemade tortillas was a work of love.

LindyLou - it made for an interesting trip back into posts long forgotten, and I would certainly encourage anyone to give it a go but with one caveat....take care over dead links (I just had to check!) and images uploaded to what was once free hosting sites. It drove me mad updating hundreds of posts!

Rowena, I enjoyed going back to read some of these posts--especially the one where the illustrious Maddie and Mr. B have to wear those wretched muzzles! It was really interesting to see which posts you selected for this activity!

Oh, the doggies-in-Ikea post! The poor poochies! :(

But of all those you posted here, I liked the one on bomboloni best.

I agree your "Cathedral" post is the most beautiful but all your photos are beautiful!

All of your posts are wonderful! And it's nice to see that they're not ALL about gelato. ;-)

About photo robbing, I have often found your photos on Flickr with free access to use through creative commons. Do you know about that?

Saretta - my Flickr profile gives clear instructions on the use of my images but unfortunately there are some who don't know how, or are too lazy, to read.

Welshcakes - I am tickled for the comment but my camera and photoshop deserves atleast 1/3 the credit!

Midge - it's the falling confectioner's sugar that made that bomboloni pic.

Bella - well, 3 outta 4 ain't bad and we LOVE Leroy Merlin, Decathlon and Maxi Zoo stores. One day IKEA might come around!

Casalba - we have every intention of returning this winter to see how much the young trees have grown. This time we must remember to bring the ciaspole!

Fern - thank you much, but I gotta say that without photoshop, I'd be a wreck!
