Welcome to the Bark Side

I never thought I'd finish 2 costumes for the pooches and a month before Carnevale at that. The idea for Maddie's (or Mister's) came in an instant as soon as I saw the following youtube clip, but after trying the outfit on both, I'm kinda leaning toward the doxie as a humble friar (Friar B!) instead of the westie posing as an Ewok. For one thing, Mr. B didn't try shaking or wiggling his way out of the costume - I'm looking at it as a sign from above.

Can't wait to see the Carnival! You're going to Venice or does it also occur in your home town?

cessione del quinto - you're welcome! I am so easily amused by the simplest things ^-^.

foodhoe - that is probably because I didn't have a treat in hand while I was taking his pic. He can be so demanding!

meredith - I should hang a sign around his neck that says ALMS FOR THE POOR.

WT - Venice is for the world. We like to explore the lesser known carnevale events in Italy, and even if our town does have its own parade (really small), I believe that we'll be traveling to Emilia Romagna for this year's celebration.

Jess - thank you much! Our "munkees" continue to bring us many laughs (and to our neighbors too, I should think).

Kat - shihtzus make the ideal canine Ewok. Our neighbor has one...so cute!
